Kashmiri chillies have a deep red colour and a mild heat that is highly prized. They are usually dried when red. From dried, soak in hot water and puree, or finely chop or grind with other spices to make an authentic curry paste.

Growers Guide

These chilli seedlings respond well to extra warmth as young plants; 25°C is the ideal temperature. 

The plants can be grown in pots or directly in the ground. Pots should be at least 2 litres, but 5 liters and is preferred.

Seedlings will need to be potted on. We recommend using Fertile Fibre peat-free compost. We use this product ourselves and found that it has the best properties compared to all the other peat-free composts currently available. Note that any additional items bought together with pre-order seedlings will be shipped at the same time as the seedlings when they are ready which is normally from March to May.
