An early, bright red cherry-style chilli maturing from green to red, 5cm-wide fruits. Thick-walled chilli growing on a medium-sized plant (40cm) - perfect for pickling or stuffing with cheese as an appetizer.

Heat level: 2,000 to 4,000 SHUs. Learn about Scoville Heat Units (SHUs) here.

Harvest: Starts fruiting about 90 days from potting on as seedlings and under good growing conditions. Pick when the fruits have ripened. Fruits ripen from green to red.

Size: Plants can grow up to 80cm tall and will require support as the fruits get heavy.

Growers Guide

These chilli seedlings respond well to extra warmth as young plants; 25°C is the ideal temperature. 

The plants can be grown in pots or directly in the ground. Pots should be at least 2 litres, but 5 liters and is preferred.

Seedlings will need to be potted on. We recommend using Fertile Fibre peat-free compost. We use this product ourselves and found that it has the best properties compared to all the other peat-free composts currently available. Note that any additional items bought together with pre-order seedlings will be shipped at the same time as the seedlings when they are ready which is normally from March to May.
