Long, red, medium-heat fruits - great for drying. The plant produces a good crop and grows to about 90cm and will need support.

Heat level: Approximately 20,000 to 40,000 SHUs.  Learn about Scoville Heat Units (SHUs) here.

Harvest: Pick when the fruits are mature and firm. Fruits ripen from green to red.

Size: The plants can grow to 1m high and will need supporting.

Growers Guide

These chilli seedlings respond well to extra warmth as young plants; 25°C is the ideal temperature. 

The plants can be grown in pots or directly in the ground. Pots should be at least 2 litres, but 5 liters and is preferred.

Seedlings will need to be potted on. We recommend using Fertile Fibre peat-free compost. We use this product ourselves and found that it has the best properties compared to all the other peat-free composts currently available. Note that any additional items bought together with pre-order seedlings will be shipped at the same time as the seedlings when they are ready which is normally from March to May.
