This popular variety produces attractive, lantern-shaped fruits that mature from green to a vibrant deep red, with the distinctive fruity, aromatic flavour and intense heat that habaneros are famous for.

Red Habanero plants are productive and well suited to pots, containers, greenhouses and warm, sheltered outdoor positions. The bright red fruits make an eye-catching display while providing plenty of heat for the kitchen.

A classic chilli used widely across the Americas, Caribbean and West Africa. In Trinidad is sometimes referred to as a 'Congo Pepper'.

Pot Plant Packaging

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
