Purple Princess 1 Litre Pot Plant

This is a very attractive chilli plant that produces an abundance of chillies - ideal as a pot plant for indoors. The fruits are early ripening, hot cooking chillies. It is perfect for the grower with limited space.

Compact plant with greenish-violet leaves. Produces dark green fruits which grow pointing upwards and ripen reddish-violet. Voted 10th hottest by BBC Gardeners World in 2006 trial.

Harvest: Starts fruiting about 90 days from potting on as seedlings and under good growing conditions. Pick when the fruits have ripened. Fruits ripen from purple to a deep red.

Size: The plant can grow to 80m high, but is around 50cm on average. Can be grown in pots or directly in the ground. Pots should be a minimum of 1 litre, although 2 litres is preferable.

Packaging & Shipping Information

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
