A tall, elegant plant with an abundance of 1" long fruits ripening from green to red. The original seeds for this plant were collected in Portugal many years ago. The fruits are great in cooking (green or red) and dry very well when ripe.

Information

Harvest: Pick when they turn red - about 85 days from potting-on. Heat: 120,000 - 200,000 Scovile heat units. Average contents 15 seeds.

Somewhat disappointing

I bought a bag of vermiculite, as this was shown in many of the pictures on your web site. I also bought a heated propagator . I planted 10 seeds, each in a different pot. It is now two weeks since they were planted, and so far only 5 seeds have germinated, which is disappointing.
