Pickled Chillies

Not to be mistaken for pickled jalapeños, these are real chillies, very nice with a mix of hot & hot hot!

My title say's it all. I love growing and eating chillie's but did not want the hassle of pickling, Time is just to short in today's World.
Thee are just enough heat, sliced to be put straight into buttered roll, and then devoured alongside some home grown tomatoes ,taste lasts for ages afterwards.

I bought 4 bottles of these a couple of weeks ago to use on pizza and with salads and other meals. The ones I received looked like a mix of jalapeno and other hotter green chilli, reasonable thinly sliced. They smelled fantastic, really fresh like just off the bush. I used the first bottle in just a couple of days, half a bottle to each of two pizza. Really great flavour and heat, they stand out above my more usual bottles of green and red jalapeno, with a definite and really enjoyable pronounced flavour and heat. I've just re-ordered another 4 bottles ...

The website and jar label describe the contents as ‘medium’ but I’d rate the heat as medium to high. That’s not a problem though, especially as the chillies are far more flavoursome than I anticipated. Furthermore, tho juice is nowhere near as acidic or ‘vinegary’ as many other pickled products.

I’ll definitely be buying more when I’ve consumed my current supply.

The pickled chillies are super to add into a sandwich. I even added some finely chopped into an omelette!
