Very long and thin green, ripening to red chillis native to the Lombardia region of Italy. Picked red or green and usually cooked whole or pickled. Great addition to salads. Peperoncino is the generic Italian term for chilli.
Heat level: heatless to very mild. Learn about Scoville Heat Units (SHUs) here.
Harvest: Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. Fruits ripen from green to red.
Size: Plants grow to about 50cm tall and may require support.

Packaging & Shipping Information
Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
