Produced using 100% renewable energy!
This variety is originally from Nepal and produces long, hot chillies. It is a great alternative to Thai chillies in Thai-style or Nepalese cooking, with a great taste and instant heat. The fruits are larger and ripen a little earlier than the classic Thai chillies..
Note that this is a hybrid created by chilli enthusiasts. And as with many new hybrids, there is a chance that the strain isn't fully stable. So there is a chance you may end up with a plant that is a bit different from the original. But this is the exciting part of growing new weird and wonderful varieties that the chilli breeding community produces.

I grew the Lang Nepal in 2025 for the first time, the plants produce outrageous amounts for chiilis that mature later in the season. The fruit are pretty hot with an almost pineapple flavour. The skin can be a little thick but finely chopped is fine.
I ran a 2 month fermentation with these and the flavour developed was outstanding and it made the best hot sauce I have ever made.
Thoroughly recommend trying these.
What a brilliant review, thank you! We’re thrilled to hear how well the Lang Nepal performed for you!
It’s fantastic to hear they shone in fermentation too, and that they helped create your best hot sauce yet! Thanks again for the recommendation and for growing with us ️
