This set of three seedlings contains our favourite fruity babes!

The varieties included in this set are:

1. Apple Crisp 

Sweet and mild as the name suggests! A prolific, shrub forming chilli with medium size fleshy fruits. The pods are are thick walled and fleshy - giving it a unique crunchy texture as if biting into an apple. Fruits can be as large as 4 to 4.5cm in diameter. The plants will need supporting as it grows and fruits. Heatless to very mild.

2. Cherry Bomb

This is a hugely popular and versatile chilli that is also very easy to grow. The plant produces an abundance of eye-catching bright red fleshy fruits (5cm round) which mature in around 60 days from potting on. They can be stuffed with cheese and baked, or used for cooking and fresh salsa. Approximately 2,000 to 4,000 SHUs.

3. Aji Mango

A very productive variety that produces orange coloured pods that have a fruity but fiery flavour. The fruits start off light green and ripen to a vibrant orange. The pods can be up to 5cm long and 3 cm wide and have a wavy lobe-like texture and appearance.

We try our best to keep this list up to date. However, if the varieties advertised are not available at the time of packing, the best substitute will be used.

Growers Guide

These chilli seedlings respond well to warmth as young plants; 25°C is the ideal temperature.

Seedlings will need to be potted on. We recommend using Fertile Fiber peat-free compost. We use this product ourselves and found that it has the best properties compared to all the other pear-free composts currently available. Note that any additional items bought together with pre-order seedlings will be shipped at the same time as the seedlings when they are ready which is normally from March to May.

Shipping

Seeds are sown in Jan or Feb and we start sending our plants as soon as they are ready. Plug plants are usually available to ship from about the end of March onwards. But this is very weather dependent and can vary by several weeks. We will endeavor to notify our customers when the seedlings are likely to be ready closer to the time of shipping.

Two delivery options are available, Royal Mail and DPD, and both offer tracking. However, while the DPD is a next day service, Royal Mail is a 48-hour service, so naturally, the DPD price will will be higher. Shipping prices will be calculated based on the quantity of items in your cart and will be clearly displayed at checkout before you pay. The seedlings can survive for serval days in the post since they are well watered before shipping and a few days without light will not harm the seedlings. 

Please be aware that if you place an order that contains a mix of 'pre-order' and 'buy it now' items, your order may be delayed until all items are ready to send. This is because we aim to send your entire order in one shipment. Thank you for your patience.
