Fresh New Mexico Improved chillies are long, smooth peppers with a mild heat and rich, earthy flavour. Closely related to Anaheim chillies, they're prized for their thick flesh and versatility, making them an excellent choice for a wide range of recipes.

Traditionally enjoyed both green and red, these chillies develop a deliciously sweet, smoky flavour when roasted. Their gentle heat and full-bodied taste make them ideal for anyone looking to add plenty of flavour without too much spice.

Roast until the skin blisters, then peel before using in homemade salsas, sauces, soups, casseroles, fajitas or stuffed with your favourite filling. Their thick flesh and mild heat make them wonderfully versatile.

For the best chance of receiving your order over the weekend, please select DPD shipping for orders placed on Thursday for Friday dispatch. Orders placed on Thursday with Royal Mail for Friday dispatch will not be delivered until Monday.

Fresh chillies will keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge and freeze exceptionally well, making it easy to enjoy them long after the harvest. Slicing and pickling are also great ways to preserve them.

Fresh chillies are not washed thoroughly so should be washed before use.

They are packaged in paper bags with a name label attached.

Pack size will vary depending on variety chosen. If you order multiple packs these may be packaged in a single bag.
