Fresh Aji Red chillies originate from Peru and grow to around 4 inches long. Ripening from yellow to vibrant red, they offer a medium to hot heat with a distinctive citrusy flavour that sets them apart from many other chilli varieties.

Early in the season, these chillies are available while still yellow, before maturing to their rich red colour later in the year. Their bright, fresh flavour makes them a favourite for adding a lively kick to a wide range of dishes. You may expect a mix of colours in your bag.

Use Aji Red chillies wherever you want fresh citrus notes alongside a medium heat. They're particularly good in seafood dishes, homemade salsas, dressings and light marinades.

Grown from our own seed on our Devon farm. Hand-picked at peak ripeness for the very best flavour. Washed, packed and dispatched the same day they're harvested.

Please note: If you have ordered fresh chillies, we cannot guarantee weekend delivery. For the best chance of receiving your order over the weekend, please select DPD shipping for orders placed on Thursday for Friday dispatch. Orders placed on Thursday with Royal Mail for Friday dispatch will not be delivered until Monday.

Fresh chillies will keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge and freeze exceptionally well, making it easy to enjoy them long after the harvest. Slicing and pickling are also great ways to preserve them.

Our fresh chillies are picked, packed and dispatched the same day for maximum freshness.

Fresh chillies are not washed thoroughly so should be washed before use.

They are packaged in paper bags with a name label attached.

Pack size will vary depending on variety chosen. If you order multiple packs these may be packaged in a single bag.

Shipping costs for non-UK mainland addresses are determined by weight and destination.
