Fresh chillies keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge. All chillies freeze well and slicing and pickling is another way to preserve chillies.
Well, does what it says on the tin. Lovely lemon but with the seeds in was a shock to me! Hotter than I’m used to.
Used a finely chopped de ribbed aji Limon to make a quick marinade with a small garlic clove of crushed with salt, 3/4tsp dried Oregano and 3/4tsp dried Epazote and a crushed Allspice berry. Juice of 2 limes, mix together and coat each side of 2 fillets of Hake and leave for 20 mins, turning halfway through.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan and cook gently till done, basting with marinade.
Paul.
Arrived very quickly and were very fresh. They taste lovely but hot!
