Note: these plants have been lightly pruned to allow them to fit into our tallest boxes. They're big healthy plants, so the light pruning would not set the plant back and you should get a good harvest from the season ahead.

An attractive plant, named because the clusters of cone-shaped red chillies point upwards (to heaven). The chillies are a medium heat with citrus notes. They are thin skinned and good for drying. The dried chillies are popular in Chinese - Sichuan style cooking.

Harvest: Pick when the fruits have matured. Fruits ripen from green to red.

Size: The plant can grow quite tall to over 1m high and will require support.

Packaging & Shipping Information

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
