Our Aleppo chilli flakes are semi-dried, crushed with salt into rough flakes and lightly oiled, giving them a mild to medium heat with a fruity, tangy flavour.

Famously used by Nigella Lawson in her popular Turkish eggs recipe, they’re an easy way to add warmth and depth without overpowering a dish.

Originally from the Turkish and Syrian regions, the Aleppo pepper takes its name from the historic Syrian city on the Silk Road spice route; it’s also known as Pul Biber.
