Big Black Mama 1 Litre Pot Plant

The Big Black Mama is one of the super hot chilli varieties and was created by Troy Primo (an American chilli grower) and is a cross between the Naga Morich and the Douglah 7 pod & produces some knobbly, gnarly looking fruits of a dark purple-brown colour. 

The plant can grow up to a metre tall and is prolific, producing lots of fruits that ripen to a dark rich brown in the mid to late summer. The pod have a wrinkly surface and can be up to 6 or 7 cm long and up to 3cm wide.

Packaging & Shipping Information

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.

The plant varieties available will change throughout the season. Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots.

Pre-ordered plants are shipped out as soon as the plants are mature enough and have a root ball which is strong enough to cope with the shipping process.
