An extremely popular Anaheim-type NuMex variety that was bred to be hotter than other similar NuMex varieties such as Big Jim or Anaheim. They can be sued just like Anaheims and is great fin salsas, grilled, fried or stuffed, but for those who prefer a bit more heat. The fruits tend to get hotter the longer they stay on the plant.
Pods can be up to 12 to 18cm long and they ripen from green to red.
Plants grow to about 60cm tall and will need supporting as it starts to crop. Can be grown in pots or directly in the ground. A minimum pot size of 2 litres is recommended. But as with most chillies, the bigger the pot, the bigger the plant will grow and produce a larger crop.
