Grow your own bumper crop of long, slender red chillies with Bangalore Whippets Tail chilli seeds from South Devon Chilli Farm. This productive cayenne-type variety produces an abundance of red chillies, with a heat rating of 20,000–40,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). Plants grow to around 90cm tall and may need support as the chillies develop. Ideal for adding heat to sauces, salsas and home cooking, or drying for chilli flakes.

All our chilli seeds are collected from our own home-grown chillies here on the farm and thoroughly germination tested before going on sale. Every variety achieves a 90% germination rate or higher, so you can sow with confidence.

Bangalore Whippets Tail chillies are ideal for adding heat to curries, stir-fries, sauces and salsas, or for drying and grinding into homemade chilli flakes and powder.
