I’ll meet & greet visitors staying on the beautiful South Devon Coast; our local regulars - topping up on chilli jam & chutney and walkers and cyclists – refueling on coffee and cake.
During the early months of course, it’s all about growing – seeds, seeds and more seeds – we’ve plenty and the kit to get them started. I love helping our customers choose the right varieties and giving top tips on growing. As the season progresses we’ll have young plants available and also larger 1 litre pot chillies, as well as 2 litre Super Hots – who doesn’t love a Carolina Reaper?
The most rewarding part of being part of the team at South Devon Chilli Farm – asides from having a fantastic valley view from the ‘office’, is the buzz from a shop full of customers; sharing stories of successful crops; recipe ideas and yelps and coughs on sampling the chilli sauces on offer.
