Fresh Bhut Jolokia, better known as the Ghost Pepper, is one of the world's most famous superhot chillies. The first chilli officially measured at over 1 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU), it quickly earned a legendary reputation for its extreme heat and distinctive fruity flavour.

Despite its fiery intensity, the Ghost Pepper has subtle sweet, smoky notes that make it a favourite among experienced chilli lovers. Delivering around four times the heat of a typical Habanero, it's a chilli that demands both respect and careful handling.

Bhut Jolokia is best used sparingly in homemade hot sauces, curries, chilli con carne, marinades and spicy stews. A tiny amount adds incredible depth of flavour alongside its famous heat.
