A family favourite made even better with our Hot 'n' Smoky BBQ Sauce. Sweet, smoky and gently spiced, it's the perfect match for juicy chicken, crispy bacon and melted cheddar.

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts

8 rashers streaky bacon

150ml South Devon Chilli Farm Hot 'n' Smoky BBQ Sauce

150g mature cheddar, grated

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and black pepper

Fresh parsley, to garnish
Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan).

Season the chicken breasts and heat the oil in a frying pan. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until lightly golden.

Transfer to an ovenproof dish and wrap each chicken breast with two rashers of bacon.

Spoon a generous amount of Hot 'n' Smoky BBQ Sauce over each piece of chicken, making sure the bacon is coated.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven, top generously with grated cheddar and drizzle with a little more BBQ sauce.

Return to the oven for 10-15 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbling and golden.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.

Perfect with chunky chips, corn on the cob, coleslaw and a crisp green salad. Don't forget an extra bottle of Hot 'n' Smoky BBQ Sauce on the table for dipping and drizzling!
