Take your chilli growing to the extreme with a Trinidad Scorpion chilli seedling. Famous for its intense heat, this super-hot variety produces distinctive, wrinkled fruits with a characteristic pointed tail and a fruity, aromatic flavour beneath the powerful heat.

Trinidad Scorpion plants make an impressive addition to any serious chilli collection and are well suited to pots, containers, greenhouses or a warm, sheltered position outdoors. The striking fruits mature to vibrant red, creating an eye-catching display as well as an exceptionally hot harvest.

This was once the hottest chilli in the world, but was knocked off the top spot by the Carolina Reaper in 2017. These chillies have been measured at over 1.4 million Scoville Units.

Heat: approx. 1.4 million Scoville Heat Units.

Size: up to 1m tall.

Fruits: cone-shaped and sometimes with a tail and approx. 5 cm long. Ripens from green to red.

The large plant (up to 70cm in a large pot) produces a good crop of 4cm fruits that ripen to a vivid red.

Pot Plant Packaging

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
