Scorpion Chilli Sauce

I think the beauty of this sauce is that is not heavily flavoured. Unlike so many on the market that are fruity, or herby, this sauce is an excellent way to add heat to something without changing the flavour of it. A perfect sauce for cooking for people with different heat tolerances. I can make a flavourful but mild dish for my family and people can use this sauce to add heat to their desired level without it taking over the flavour profile with fruit or vinegar. Especially as the heat of the chillis means only a few drops are needed to give a real kick.

everybody has a different tolerance level when it comes to heat and i admit that mine is off the chart when it comes to spice, so unfortunately i didnt find this hot at all. so if you can handle heat well you mat be disappointed, but my other gripe is i found it also flavourless. i get that its just pure chilli and vinegar with no added flavourings or herbs etc but i feel it needs something. i dont want to put the chilli farm down as del was great and many will be pleased but not for me

I found this sauce at a butcher’s in Burnham on Sea in February, and as a chili lover who puts hot sauce on almost everything, I had to try it. Boy, was I in for a surprise! My first taste test was way too ambitious, leaving me hiccuping and sweating like I’d just run a marathon. Lesson learned! The next time, a few careful drops brought the perfect blend of heat and flavor. So, handle with care – it’s not the hottest sauce out there, but it definitely packs a punch! Enjoy

I like the new shaped bottle! Sauce is as good as any form SDCF. What I like is that all the souce is made form fresh (not dried) fruit! Its going really quick. Picture shows 4 days form opening.

We ADORE this stuff, never have less than 2 bottles in at any given time. It's obviously incredibly hot, but has a wonderful flavour that means we frequently just add it to dishes to both spice them up and make them taste fab. Highly recommend as a gift or just to treat yourself.
