🌶️ Jalapeño – A classic medium-heat chilli with thick, crisp flesh and a fresh, slightly fruity flavour. Excellent for pickling, nachos, tacos, salsas and sauces.

Seedling Packaging

Our seedlings are grown in coir plugs with a cotton outer, and packaged in recycled plastic clamshells, with the root balls held securely and space for foliage which is protected from crushing in transit.

Your clampack will be labelled to make clear which variety is which. Remember to label your seedlings when you plant them out. You do NOT need to remove the cotton plug outer when planting out; attempting to do so may result in root damage which could kill your seedling.

When you receive your clampack in the post you should immedialtey open it up for the seedlings to get sunlight, and give them a water if the plugs are dry. The plugs should be potted up as soon as possible.

Our seeds are sown from January onwards, and we start sending our plants as soon as they are ready. Seedlings are usually available to ship from about the end of March onwards. But this is weather dependent and can vary by several weeks. We will endeavor to notify our customers when the seedlings are likely to be ready closer to the time of shipping.

Two delivery options are available, Royal Mail and DPD, and both offer tracking. Shipping prices will be calculated based on the quantity of items in your cart and will be clearly displayed at checkout before you pay. The seedlings can survive for serval days in the post since they are well watered before shipping and a few days without light will not harm the seedlings. 

We try our best to have these seedlings ready for you. However, if there are any issues with our stock, a suitable substitute will be used at the time of shipping.

Please be aware that if you place an order that contains a mix of 'pre-order' and 'buy it now' items, your order may be delayed until all items are ready to send. This is because we aim to send your entire order in one shipment. Thank you for your patience.
