The Golden Cayenne is a highly productive variety with a similar growing habit to the popular Long Slim Cayenne, but with the added attraction of fruits that ripen to a beautiful golden yellow.

The plants produce a prolific crop of slender cayenne-style chillies, making this an excellent choice for both keen chilli growers and home cooks. The vibrant golden fruits look particularly attractive when displayed on the plant and are ideal for drying, allowing you to preserve your harvest for use throughout the year.

The dried chillies can also be tied into strings, creating a traditional and attractive way to dry and store your crop while adding a decorative touch to the kitchen.

Harvest: Pick when the fruits are mature and firm. Fruits ripen from green to a bright yellow.

Pot Plant Packaging

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
