The combination of chillies and chocolate has been popular in South America since the Mayans and Aztecs and we agree that they go together superbly. We have been making chilli chocolate since 2003. Each box contains at least 80g of handmade chocolate.

Lovely but hard to taste the chilli

It’s very strongly lime flavoured and really hard to find any chilli heat in it so disappointing if that’s what you want.

Wonderful flavours and a nice chilli heat - really nice chocolate

Having tried most of the chocolate from South Devon Chilli before I was very excited to try this new one, and it was yummy. Fresh lime flavours and crystallised ginger combined with a dark chocolate...what's not to like! Definitely one of my new favourites .

the subginger and sublime taste of air freshener

i'd waited a while to try this chocolate, but after finally giving in i ordered some after trying all the other flavours and i have to say i was not prepared for the distinct air freshener smell from this bar. if you blindfolded me, put me in a construction worker's van and dangled this chocolate in place of an air freshener i would simply assume that it is in-fact air freshener. while this did put me off, i tried it anyway.

it tastes like the smell of airfreshener.

i don't know what i was expecting really. it's air freshener. and weirdly enough i enjoy this. it's an acquired taste and i acquired it so so quickly. it's not my favourite nor 5 stars because now i have to cope with the fact that i enjoy the taste of an air freshener in my mouth, but it's still pretty good.
