De Arbol chillies are little red rockets of flavour, bringing authentic Mexican heat to any dish they touch!

These slender peppers grow to around 5–7.5cm long and ripen from bright green to vibrant red, creating a colourful display both in the garden and on the plate.

Well known in Mexican cuisine, De Arbol chillies are prized for their clean, crisp heat and rich flavour; they provide a welcome burst of early-season spice.


Small in size but big on character, these chillies are guaranteed to wake up your taste buds!

Harvest: Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. Fruits ripen from green to red.

Size: The plant can grow to 35cm high and doesn't require support. It can ben grown in pots or in the ground. Pots should be a minimum of 1 litre, but 2 litres is preferable.

Pot Plant Packaging

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
