Originally associated with Aleppo in Syria, these chillies are prized for their fruity, slightly smoky character and are traditionally used throughout Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine.

For the best results, grow your Aleppo Pepper Chilli Plant in a warm, sunny and sheltered position. It is well suited to containers, patios and greenhouse growing, particularly in the UK where additional warmth can help the fruits ripen successfully.

Plant into a good-quality, free-draining compost and water regularly during active growth, avoiding waterlogged conditions. Once the plant begins flowering and setting fruit, feed regularly with a high-potash fertiliser to encourage continued flowering and fruit production.

Allow the fruits to remain on the plant until they have ripened to a deep red for the fullest flavour. In cooler climates, growing under glass can help extend the season and improve ripening.

Pot Plant Packaging

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
