Bring authentic Mexican flavour to your garden with a Poblano chilli seedling. This popular variety produces large, broad, dark green fruits with a mild to medium heat and a rich, earthy flavour. Poblano is especially well known for its versatility and is a fantastic choice for roasting, stuffing and Mexican-inspired cooking.

The plants are productive and well suited to pots, containers, greenhouses and warm, sheltered outdoor positions. Harvest the fruits green for their classic Poblano flavour, or allow them to mature to a deep red for a sweeter, richer taste.

Revered for its quality as a stuffing pepper. Stuff it with meat, cheese, rice or vegetables then bake them. Very popular in the USA and Mexico, traditionally cooked green.

Pot Plant Packaging

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
