Murupi Purple Chilli Seeds
Approximately 50,000 to 80,000 SHUs
The Murupi Purple chilli plant is a striking variety, prized for its dark purple stems and unusually colourful fruits. The pods develop through a beautiful range of shades as they ripen, starting olive-green and black before turning dark purple and displaying a mix of orange, purple, yellow and red.
Looks aren't everything, though. Murupi Purple also produces chillies with a hot, fruity flavour that is best enjoyed when the fruits are fully ripe. Its combination of colourful pods and punchy heat makes it an excellent choice for chilli enthusiasts looking to grow something a little different in their greenhouse or polytunnel.
All our Murupi Purple chilli seeds are collected from our own home-grown chillies here on the farm and are thoroughly germination tested before going on sale. Every seed variety we sell achieves a 90% germination rate or higher, so you can sow with confidence.
