Another classic, mild-heat, American/New Mexican chilli. Originating from New Mexico and often referred to as the Hatch chilli when grown in the Hatch region these chillies are named after the Californian city of Anaheim. Traditionally they are used green and the skin is removed. They are typically stuffed and battered or used as a base for salsa or mole.

Storage

Fresh chillies keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge. All chillies freeze well and slicing and pickling is another way to preserve chillies.

New Mexican Approved!

I recently moved from New Mexico and I was over joyed to find a source of fresh chiles (chillis) to prepare my favorite mexican recipes! The Poblanos and Anaheim chiles arrived beautiful and fresh in the post. Stuffed Poblano peppers with Mexican rice as well as green chile enchiladas were both heavenlyI love South Devon Chilli Farm products!

Impressive length (looked better than mine!)

These Anaheims were impressive, a lovely light green colour to the chillies and a really good, long length. The flavour was superb. One of my favourite mild chillies and I was really impressed. All the chillies that I ordered were perfect and clearly fresh. Well done, thank you.
