A pre-1870’s African American heirloom variety used to season fish and shellfish in the African-American communities around Baltimore and Philadelphia.
A very striking ornamental chilli where both the plant and the long pendant fruits can be completely variegated. The leaves and fruit are lined with creamy white and green, with the chillies eventually turning orange-red. These chillies are still very much sought after by cooks.
