Asia-born and now Devon-grown, it offers a lively heat comparable to Thai chillies, and delivers bold flavour in a larger, eye-catching pod. The slim fruits grow up to 15 cm long, with thin walls and plenty of seeds for maximum intensity. Fresh and vibrant when green, they mature into sweeter, richer chillies as they ripen, perfect for curries, sauces and stir-fries. Starts fruiting about 120 days from potting on as seedlings and under good growing conditions. Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. Fruits ripen from green to red.
