The Bulgarian Carrot Chilli is a productive heirloom variety that performs exceptionally well in the UK climate, making it an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced growers. Originally from Bulgaria, this reliable chilli produces heavy crops of vibrant fruits that ripen from green to a striking bright orange.

Growing to around 3–4 inches (7–10cm) long, the smooth, glossy peppers deliver a fruity, slightly sweet flavour with a satisfying kick of heat. They're incredibly versatile in the kitchen, adding colour and spice to stir-fries, salsas, hot sauces, pickles and fresh salads.

Harvest: Starts fruiting about 120 days from potting on as seedlings and under good growing conditions. Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. Fruits ripen from green to orange.

Size: Plants can grow to about 50 cm tall.

Delivery: Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.

Pot Plant Packaging

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.
