Bangalore Whippets Tail 1 Litre Pot Plant

A cross variety of Bangalore Torpedo with Whippets Tail chillies. This chilli has long  fruits up to 30cm in length. Long, red, medium-heat fruits - great for drying. The plant produces a good crop and grows to about 90cm and will need support.

Harvest: Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. Fruits ripen from green to red. Green fruits can be used in recipes that call for a 'Thai-style' chilli or a green 'curry' chilli. Harvest red fruits before they start to dry on the plant to encourage fruiting.

Size: Plants can grow quite tall about 90cm and will require support.

Packaging & Shipping Information

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
