Apple Crisp 1 Litre Pot Plant

Note: these plants have been lightly pruned to allow them to fit into our tallest boxes. They're big healthy plants, so the light pruning would not set the plant back and you should get a good harvest from the season ahead.

Sweet and mild as the name suggests! A prolific, shrub forming chilli with medium size fleshy fruits. The pods are are thick walled and fleshy - giving it a unique crunchy texture as if biting into an apple. Fruits can be as large as 4 to 4.5cm in diameter. The plants will need supporting as it grows and fruits.

Heat level: Heatless to very mild. Learn about Scoville Heat Units (SHUs) here.

Harvest: Pick when the fruits have reached their maximum size. They taste best when ripe. Fruits ripen from lime green through orange to red.

Size: Plants can grow to 1m tall and will require support as the branches tend to have more of a trailing habit as the plant matures.

Packaging & Shipping Information

Plants are sent in 1Ltr (13cm) pots. Each plant is securely packaged in a recyclable cardboard box. The pot is wrapped in a biodegradable plastic bag to prevent any moisture from damaging the cardboard box any soil from falling out.

Each plant is hand selected by our horticulturists and carefully packaged. The box is marked with a way up sticker to notify the courier and handlers that it contains live plant material and that it should be handled with care.
