The 7-Pot Primo is a cross between a Trinidad 7 pot and Naga Morich created by Troy Primeaux ('Primo'). It has a bumpy texture and often produces a long tail/stinger. It is a reasonably stable cultivar. There is a lot of controversy in the pepper world surrounding the 7 Pot Primo and the infamous Carolina Reaper. And it is believed by some that the 7 Pot Primo is/was actually the hottest pepper in the world. We don't have evidence to verify these claims. But what we do know for sure is that this is an extremely hot pepper!

Note that this is a hybrid created by chilli enthusiasts. And as with many new hybrids, there is a chance that the strain isn't fully stable. So there is a chance you may end up with a plant that is a bit different from the original. But this is the exciting part of growing new weird and wonderful varieties that the chilli breeding community produces.
