Produced using 100% renewable energy!
A chocolate version of the infamous 7-Pot chilli which originated from Trinidad. The name 7-Pot came from the believe that one chilli can be used to flavour and spice up 7 pots of food, if not more!
The term 'dougla' is a colloquial, (but, importantly, it is not a derogatory term) which is used in Trinidad & Tobago to describe a a mixed-race person of African and Indian descent, especially with respect to skin colour. So the pepper is called this because of its genetic background being of mixed origins.
Note that this is a hybrid created by chilli enthusiasts. And as with many new hybrids, there is a chance that the strain isn't fully stable. So there is a chance you may end up with a plant that is a bit different from the original. But this is the exciting part of growing new weird and wonderful varieties that the chilli breeding community produces.
