Ring of Fire is a hot cayenne type which is very quick to mature. We grow a lot of these on the farm and it is always the first hot chilli to ripen. It grows on an upright bush and can be picked green or red. This is a very productive plant.

My Chilli seedsj

Having used the Chilli farm before I had no hesitation in purchasing more seeds this year. Having had brilliant results in the past I have great faith with this years seeds in fact I have just planted them in my propagator today.

This Year? Lethal!

Bought some of these back in early Feb to get going indoors under lights very early. Now that they’re producing a bumper crop in the greenhouse the wife decided to make a nice dry chilli paneer with some of these mixed in with some other shop bought green chillies.

Good lord they’re noticeably hot. This year’s decent weather, combined with an early start and a greenhouse throughout mean they’re ridiculously hot this year.

Love them, but I think we’ll cut back on the next one, and work on our lovely bumper crop of lovely ripe red Jalapeños instead.
