Chilli Chocolate Covered Strawberries

A fruity treat with a little Devon kick. These chocolate-covered strawberries pair the natural sweetness of strawberries with the smooth richness of our chilli drinking chocolate, gently warmed with chilli heat.  Simple, a bit indulgent, and quietly bold- just how we like it.

Chilli Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients:

  • Fresh strawberries (washed, fully dried)
  • Original Chilli Drinking chocolate
  • Wooden skewers

Method:

  1. Melt the chocolate gently
    Add your Chilli Drinking Chocolate into a heatproof bowl placed over simmering water (don’t let the bowl touch the water) Stir until smooth.
  2. Prep the strawberries
    Make sure the strawberries ae completely dry to ensure the chocolate will stick
  3. Skewer them
    Thread 3-5 strawberries onto each skewer
  4.  Dip or drizzle
    Dip each skewer into your melted drinking chocolate, or use a spoon to drizzle for a lighter coating 
  5. Set
    Place your strawberries on some greaseproof paper and allow the melted chocolate to set. You can place them in a fridge to speed up the process!
