Delivery / Shipping Timings
We aim, but cannot guarantee, for orders to be shipped from the farm on the next working day after the order is placed; for example, orders received Monday to Thursday are shipped on the day after they are received but orders received Friday to Sunday are shipped on the following Monday. Occasionally, on quiet days we may ship orders on the same day that they are received.
- Orders shipped with DPD courier are delivered the next working day after they are shipped and are tracked.
- Orders shipped with Royal Mail 1st class, are delivered 1 - 5 days after they are shipped and are not tracked.
Weekends and Bank Holidays
Our shipping department is closed at weekends and on Bank holidays - orders will be shipped the next working day. Please be aware we are also closed between Christmas & New Year.
Delivery/Shipping Options
UK orders
Depending on the items that you have ordered, you can choose a delivery option from Royal Mail First Class post or a courier service (DPD). Please note, our courier service is a 24hour Monday to Friday service which requires a signature on delivery.
If your order weighs over 3kg then the DPD courier will be automatically selected as your delivery service and there will be no Royal Mail option.
For UK-offshore
Orders are shipped using a DPD 2/4days (depending on country).
For Europe
Unfortunately, orders to Europe are on hold at the moment until we have more information on the new regulations post Brexit. Seed orders to Northern Ireland are also on hold due to new requirements for phytosanitary certification.
Rest of the World
Unfortunately at the moment, we are unable to ship to areas outside of Europe.
Delivery/Shipping Costs
Our Royal Mail shipping costs for UK addresses are currently £2.00 for seed-only orders and £4.50 for all other orders. If your order weighs over 3.25Kg then "DPD signed-for service" is automatically selected and the shipping costs will increase to DPD delivery rates (£5.99).
Shipping costs for non-UK mainland addresses are determined by weight and destination.
The shipping costs will be finalised when you go to checkout or you can check them at the Basket stage.
DPD is automatically selected for seedling/plant orders & packages weighing over 3.25kg.
Shipping of Pre-Order Items and Ready-to-Ship Items
Please note that if you have ordered pre-order items (for example, plug plants/seedlings/pot plants) together with ready to ship items (for example sauces/preserves etc.) then all the items in your order will be dispatched when your pre-ordered items are ready. This is because pre-ordered items such as plants are available at different times, and hence, would require two separate shipping costs to send them at the different times.
Please place a separate order for ready to ship items if you would like to have your ready-to-ship items dispatched right away.
