This is a chilli which was originates from Sri Lanka and bears a similar resemblance to a typical Thai Green Chilli in terms of flavour profile but is a bit milder. It is perfect for adding a good amount of heat to a curry. The fruit pods are up to 10cm long and 1cm in diameter. They are green and ripen to a vibrant red.
The plants will need supporting especially when they start setting fruits. They are best grown in the ground or in large pots (minimum 2 litres).
